Most doctor's offices don't have the time or the infrastructure in place to implement the importance of food and exercise, and how that prevents most chronic ailments. As co-owner with my wife Judy, together with my son Evan, we have embarked on a project that is the culmination of at least 4 years of planning. Forge-Rx will implement the wisdom of fitness and nutrition = wellness. In addition, our facility will enable anyone, man or woman, to measure their blood pressure, weight, BMI, % body fat, glucose, HgA1C, and lipid profile. We want to screen for high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol abnormalities, and obesity in a non-traditional medical environment. We want to encourage, inspire, motivate and support our clients to make healthy lifestyle choices.

If you’re someone trying to protect your energy and focus this year, you’ve probably had those days where every little decision feels like too much.

There’s such a thing as decision fatigue, which is when the more decisions you have to make, the harder it becomes to make good ones.

Here’s a filter you can use to stop that from happening.

Next time you’re faced with a yes/no moment, ask yourself:

1️⃣ Does this align with my values or word of the year?
If it doesn’t line up with the “you" you’re becoming… it’s probably not a fit.

2️⃣ Will this move me closer to how I want to feel in a year?
Think long game. This is about taking care of your future self.

3️⃣ Can I realistically commit to this right now without sacrificing something that matters to you?

If the answer is no, it’s okay to pass or pause.

This filter works for small choices (like meals or workouts)…
… and big ones (like career or business decisions).

✨ Every intentional “no” creates more space for the “yes” that actually matters.

What is 3D Journaling?
Do → Decode → Decide

If you’re busy trying to stay consistent with healthy habits, this is a simple check-in that helps you:

1️⃣ Notice what’s working
2️⃣ Drop what’s not
3️⃣ Build consistency without the pressure

Line 1: DO
Write down one thing you did for your health today

Examples:
→ Walked after lunch
→ Ate a protein-packed breakfast
→ Drank water instead of soda

Line 2: DECODE
Ask yourself what happened as a result

Lunch can be all over the place. Especially when you’re busy.

You either skip it, grab something random, or eat standing up while multitasking.

Then you're probably starving by 3 and snacking your way to dinner.

But the right lunch can do more than fill your stomach...

It can set the tone for your whole afternoon.

This one’s easy to make.

It’s loaded with protein and also makes a great meal-prep option, too.

It’s especially great if you’re a [avatar – ex. "woman over 50 dealing with stubborn belly fat or low energy."]

Mediterranean Chickpea Power Bowl
(makes 3 servings)

1 can (15 oz / 400 g) chickpeas, rinsed and drained

1 cup (185 g) cooked quinoa or brown rice

1 cup (150 g) cucumber, diced

1 cup (150 g) cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup (75 g) bell pepper, chopped

¼ cup (30 g) red onion, finely diced

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: 2 tbsp feta cheese or a sprinkle of fresh parsley

Combine chickpeas, quinoa, and chopped veggies in a large bowl.

Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small dish.

Toss everything together and top with feta or parsley if desired.
