We had an incredible time at Heels & Heart: A Women’s Heart Health Luncheon ❤️

Thank you to Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson and Gwinnett County for bringing our community together for an afternoon focused on education, empowerment, and action in support of women’s heart health. It was the perfect way to close out Heart Health Month.

Exciting news for our community!

Effective March 2, Jay Dennard will assume the role of President of the Gwinnett Hospital System Foundation and System Vice President of Governmental & Community Affairs for Northside Hospital.

Jay shared that he is “truly thrilled about this next chapter and the opportunity to focus even more intentionally on serving and strengthening our community.” His passion for collaboration and deep relationships across Gwinnett will continue to strengthen the work of our Foundation and the mission of Northside Hospital.

We are grateful for his leadership and look forward to what’s ahead.

The Northside Trauma and Surgical Specialists team collected 73 sets of pajamas for Jambos supporting children entering foster care through their Christmas initiative.

Last week, the Gwinnett Chamber hosted an event at Jambos where additional Northside Hospital staff came together to sort, roll, and package pajamas, helping spread comfort to children in foster care around the world.

For 8 years, Jambos has served 115,454 kids and teens with brand new pajamas and they continue to make an incredible impact.

We are so grateful to the Mighty Mabel Foundation for delivering their beautiful Bright Boxes to our Northside Gwinnett NICU 💛.

These thoughtful care packages, created in memory of Mabel, bring comfort and support to families navigating challenging diagnoses and long hospital stays. Each box is a reminder that a diagnosis doesn’t define a child — every baby is unique and worthy of celebration.

AMERICAN HEART MONTH: Dr. Alok Gambhir recently did the first OPAL cardiac mapping technology procedure at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. It uses FARAPULSE by Boston Scientific pulse field ablation technology to help treat heart rhythm disorders such as A-fib.

This past Friday, our very own Ginger Powell was honored with the Public Service Award at the 78th Annual Chamber Dinner.
