Read below to hear about Steve Rowley's positive experience at our center.

"I would proudly give 5 stars to Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital. As a previous patient, I can honestly say I love the therapy program here. I came to Lawrence after being treated at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for atrial fibrillation and significant weakness. When I was first admitted, I was exhausted, uncomfortable, and unsure of how long recovery would take.

Thanks to the incredible therapy team at Lawrence, I am definitely improving. My symptoms have reduced significantly, and I now have much more energy and far less discomfort than when I first arrived. Therapy played a major role in my recovery, and I truly felt supported every step of the way. The therapists pushed me in the best possible way while always being encouraging, patient, and compassionate.

The nursing and therapy staff were consistently caring, attentive, and professional. I always felt safe and well cared for. Beyond the excellent medical care, the building itself felt clean, modern, and welcoming. The common areas were comfortable and provided a relaxing space to connect with others, which made a real difference during my stay.

Because of the outstanding care and the genuine support I received, Lawrence Rehab will always be my first choice. I’m deeply grateful to the entire team for helping me regain my strength and confidence."

💕 February is American Heart Month – A Time to Prioritize Heart Health 💕

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, affecting millions of lives across all ages, genders, and ethnicities. This February, take action to protect your cardiovascular health and the health of those you care about.

Here’s how you can get involved:
• Learn CPR and become a lifesaver. More than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur annually in the U.S., and nine out of every 10 people die without immediate CPR. By learning Hands-Only CPR, you could be the difference between life and death.
• Go red. Wear red on National Wear Red Day (February 6th) to raise awareness for cardiovascular disease and support women’s heart health and support American Heart Association
• Adopt heart-healthy habits. Up to 80% of heart disease is considered preventable. Use this month to focus on eating a heart-healthy diet, increasing physical activity, managing cholesterol and blood pressure, and maintaining a healthy weight.
• Participate in community events. From heart walks to educational talks, look for local events recognizing American Heart Month and invite friends, family, and colleagues to join you.

Take the first step today. Whether it’s learning CPR, scheduling a health checkup, or committing to a new wellness habit, every action counts.

Your heart health matters – and so do you.
