🏃‍♀️ July 31-Mile Move Challenge: Mission Accomplished! 🎉

Our residents took on the 31 Mile Move Challenge for the month of July—and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! This dedicated group showed up every single day, committed to staying active and reaching their goal.

As promised, a reward was in order—and after some well-deserved group voting, they’ve chosen a fun-filled outing: Bowling and lunch at Long John Silver’s! 🎳🍽️

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated—you’ve inspired us all with your energy and determination!

At Parker Place, we prioritize fostering independence in all of our residents. Many of them, including Robert, have shown great interest in job seeking, especially since our day and vocational programs. The programs have equipped them with valuable skills and boosted their confidence.

We are thrilled to share that Robert has secured a job with Walmart! He was excited to announce that his supervisor gave him a positive compliment after his shift today. She noted how quickly he had learned the job and, as a result, he was taken off of training with another team leader and gets to be by himself.

Parker Place had a very special visitor today, Mr. Steven Buck, the President of Care Providers of Oklahoma! We are so thankful for his time and his amazing support of facilities like us across the state. He brings so much postivity, a wealth of knowledge to share, and constant encouragement to us all!
