Dr.Dale Smith is a highly trained physician and surgeon. He is board-certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Smith specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of problems related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Dr. Smith spent nine years on active duty with the U.S. Army including deployment to Desert Storm. His areas of special interest inclu

des allergy, nasal and sinus surgery, head and neck cancer, and facial cosmetic surgery. As part of Dr. Smith’s dedication to education and staying up with the newest in medical research and techniques, he serves as an associate clinical professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Smith is a past president of the Oklahoma Academy of Otolaryngology. Dr. Smith heads a team of licensed health care providers at the Institute that include two physician assistants, two audiologists, an esthetician, and a micropigmentation specialist. The Institute is organized into Centers of Excellence to better delineate the scope and passion of the practice while assisting patients in understanding what sets the Institute apart from all other medical practices in the area. Excellence has been said to be “doing ordinary things extraordinarily well”. Plato, the ancient Greek philosopher, said that “Excellent things are rare”. At the Allergy Ear Nose and Throat Institute, we do many things that are out of the ordinary, in fact, we represent the “cutting edge” of ear, nose, and throat practice. We also strive to do these things to the very best of our ability, exceeding expectations, and reaching for the highest standards of excellence. Our Centers of Excellence represent areas of our practice where we believe that our expectations of excellence can be achieved not just rarely, but routinely. A huge thank you to the Lawton Fire Dept Station 8 and Station 5 for their quick response times this morning. Everything is okay and we are thankful they could respond so quickly.
