An absolute honor as I was able to introduce today’s Guest Speaker. Fellow retired CSM T.J Baird was in Lawton to visit his twin brother Col. D. Baird and volunteered to come talk to us. He shared some very powerful messages about family, deployments and returning back home.
Check out his book when available and the story about the little bear.

Laci was presented her temporary Big Hat with its festive bling lights.

Monday we had a great crowd at the meeting. Guest Speaker was Kristine McCarty who is the new Cameron University VP of Advancement was a huge hit. This young lady has so much energy and will do well in the Lawton community.

Had a fantastic day volunteering at Open Streets today. A lot of children had a chance to ride freely in the plaza parking lot, learnt about traffic signs and safety riding.
So glad the weather had passed and brought many people on such a beautiful day

Because of a very late Thunder Game we stayed overnight in OKC
Which gave us a chance to visit OKC AMBUCS. Gordon presented the President Visit Patch. Keep an eye out for TJ and his nonprofit Veterans Adaptive Life Foundation.
And always fun to run into members we have not seen in awhile
