We took a trip to Walmart and bought some pumpkins. In the afternoon we had a joyful and hilarious time decorating the pumpkins.

Our residents made some fun Scarecrow door hangers this week to welcome October!

It’s the first of October and our favorite activity-music therapy with John. September was the time to make memories and a time to remember. We sang of memories and we reminisced about the things that brought us joy. Thank you John for helping us find the joy in our memories.

We Celebrated Larry’s 100th Birthday today! It’s awesome to have a centenarian here! We love our residents!

Autumn is on its way. We are watering and preparing the strawberries in our garden to survive the coming of winter. We also took some time making a fun treat. The residents spread some Nutella on the top of a donut hole. Then they rolled it in Autumn sprinkles with a pretzel stick as a stem. It was a sweet and tasty acorn looking treat that everyone enjoyed making and eating.
