We’ve been told the solution is less candy, more control… but the truth?
Peace around food doesn’t come from rules…it comes from trust. 🫶

This Halloween, try flipping the script:
💛 Focus on teaching awareness over restriction.
💛 Model how to enjoy a treat without shame.
💛 Show your kids that balance can feel easy.

Every calm conversation you have around candy now becomes the foundation for how they’ll feel about food for years to come. 🌿

Save this post for a reminder and share it with a friend who’s ready to bring peace back to Halloween this year 🎃

Read this before you start cutting out another food group. 🚫

If you’ve ever been told to “just cut out sugar, dairy, gluten, or carbs,” you know how quickly that turns from empowering to exhausting. 😩

At first, it feels great….you’re finally taking control.
But after a few weeks, it starts to feel restrictive.
You begin to fear food instead of feeling free around it.
And when you stop… it all comes flooding back.

Here’s what often gets less attention 👇
When you focus on addition….nutrients, minerals, movement, connection, joy, everything shifts.
You start creating balance instead of burnout.
Healing instead of fear.

This week, instead of asking,
“What should I cut out?” ❌
try asking,
“What can I add that helps my body feel supported today?” ✅

That’s the difference between temporary change and lasting freedom. 🌿

If this hit home, share it with a friend who’s choosing nourishment over punishment with you this week. 👊🫶

I don’t believe you need to reinvent yourself.
And I don’t believe in chasing the next “perfect plan.”

What I do believe?
That confidence comes from showing up for yourself, one small shift at a time.

That’s the heartbeat of the Rise Method Challenge.
💧 Each week, we’ll focus on one simple habit
💛 Practice it together inside the app
🎁 Celebrate consistency (with fun monthly prizes, too) 🙌

We begin Oct 4.
And I’d love for you to come with us.

This is something I’m working through too.
In fact, I was reminded of it just the other day… so it deserves a spot here.

I caught myself spiraling over something small.
And my first instinct was to go into that all-too-familiar loop:
“Why can’t I get this right?”
“Here we go again…”

But then I paused… and asked:
“What else could be true?”

That one question helped me soften.
It reminded me that maybe I wasn’t doing something wrong, maybe I was just doing my best with what I had at the time.
Maybe there was a version of the story that wasn’t filled with pressure or shame.

It didn’t fix everything.
But it helped me come back to reality and accept it without guilt.

So I’m sharing it here in case you need the reminder too. 💛

The goal isn’t to pretend things aren’t hard.
It’s to stop making hard moments mean you’re failing, and become curious vs critical. 👊

Restricting yourself into “perfection” leads to burnout and frustration and giving up altogether. 😩

Instead, try enhancing what you already eat.

🍕 Picked up pizza for dinner? Instead of beating yourself up, grab a bagged salad or roast some veggies to enjoy on the side.
🥪 Sandwiches? Add fruit or crunchy veggies.
🥡 Grabbing takeout? Add extra veggies or enjoy with some lemon water 🍋

Another way to look at it - start using the Good, Better, Best mindset:
✅ Good: Eat the meal slowly & mindfully.
✅ Better: Enhance it with a nutritious addition.
✅ Best: Keep building on those small habits over time and swapping out for those better choices.

Food freedom starts when you focus on what you CAN do instead of what you “shouldn’t.” Let’s reframe the way we think about food! 👊
P.s. hey I’m Kins 👋 on a mission to help women redefine the diet culture, create a positive relationship with food, and ultimately experience food freedom so they can obsess less and LIVE MORE! ✨

🌟 Ready to ditch diet culture for good? 🌟

Fad diets and food rules leave us feeling exhausted, guilty, and stuck in a cycle that never works. But guess what? You don’t need extreme measures to feel good in your body. 💛

Here are 5 small changes you can make TODAY to break up with diet culture:

1️⃣ Stop weighing yourself daily—it doesn’t define your worth. 👊
2️⃣ Add foods you love instead of focusing on what to cut out. 🍫
3️⃣ Say goodbye to “cheat days”—every day is a chance to eat what you love in balance.⭐️
4️⃣ Focus on how you feel instead of how you look.🫶
5️⃣ Celebrate progress, not perfection.🤝

💡 Your turn: Which of these changes speaks to you the most? Let me know in the comments below! ⬇️

👉 It’s time to leave diet culture behind and embrace food freedom. You’ve got this! 🙌
