We take pride in knowing that our patients and their families are being well taken care of over the course of our visits. In fact, AFI Advanced Care will continue bereavement support for the family for up to 13 months after the patients passing. We are locally owned and operated so we can take care of our patients needs quickly and efficiently. Hospice Care is available to anyone that has bee referred by a physician, and has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Patients and family members receive support and medical services during the hospice duration.

As the days begin to get shorter, Sundowning in the elderly begins earlier. Sundowning is a state of increased agitation, confusion, disorientation and anxiety that typically occurs in the late afternoon or evening in some individuals living with Alzheimer's or Dementia.
