“I want to forget the pain and put it behind me”
I hear those words so often from my clients. This is an unhealthy response to your painful thoughts and feelings.
In my 18 years of experience in providing support to people who want to heal from their pain, I have found that acknowledging the pain is a vital step in the healing process. It is a difficult yet powerful process. A process that when doing it alone will cause you to continue to dumb it out.
Your mind is powerful and will find a way to avoid this painful process. The body grips the pain even tighter when you dumb or skirt around your feelings. It festers into infection and disease.
I challenge you to start acknowledging your thoughts and feelings. Stop dumbing your pain and allow your body to feel it and release the pressure that is making you sick and depressed.
Feel the pain until it goes away.
My healing room is safe place to express the emotions that are gripping your pain. There is no judgment when acknowledging your feelings so you can release the pressure that you can’t bear to live with anymore.
Allowing yourself to do this, makes you feel instantly lighter. When the heaviness lifts, it gives you a renewed sense of hope and strength. You will leave with the tools to sustain you and carry you through turbulent times.
Say yes and allow your heart to receive a better life. Continuing to do this alone is a hard road to tread. Show up for yourself! You deserve to be supported by someone who will provide space for you to process your thoughts and feelings, words and actions in a healthy way.
