2 tips to clear the yard without ending up in pain:

Use a tarp to help save your back: rake the leaves onto a tarp and then pull them to where you need to dump them

As you rake, pull the leaves toward you. Don’t turn or twist, and tighten your abdominal muscles to help keep stress off of your back
