Just a reminder for those who took tags for the Giving Tree, items need to be returned by this Friday, December 20th, wrapped and ready to go!

All 60 tags got filled for the 15 residents we are adopting this holiday season, so a huge THANK YOU to everyone that donated money or bought items. I was just in the houses last week, and their trees remain empty underneath, so I know we are going to make their holidays merry and bright!

The remaining tags all say the same thing, so I included a close up view. These green tags are to purchase items for the new Life Skills Day Hab facility getting finished in LeMars. Dr. Bollinā€™s oldest daughter, Brenna, goes to Day Hab five days a week to enjoy activities and field trips with her friends. Itā€™s a great program that gets special needs people out of the house daily and involves them in the community. If you would like to donate something to them, the web address directs you to their wishlist on Amazon, where you can purchase items and ship directly to them, or ship to us and we will wrap and deliver them. We will continue to help them fulfill this list, even after Christmas. Items can be purchased locally and just marked as ā€œpurchased elsewhereā€ on the wishlist.

Again, thank you to everyone for your support, we are so lucky to live in such a great community!

We are about halfway through our Giving Tree this year, thank you to all of those people who donated or got presents for the Pride Group and Life Skills!

Itā€™s not too late to donate, we have 2 weeks left until packages have to be wrapped and returned. Patti Bollin will do the shopping and wrapping for you, if life is too busy! I will include my Venmo in the comments.

This year we are not only adopting 8 men and 7 women, we have added the wishlist for the new Life Skills Day Hab Facility in LeMars.
