Looking for help but don't know where to start?

Plains Area Mental Health Center offers same-day access (Open Access). Open Access provides individuals the opportunity to receive a full diagnostic assessment with a therapist on the same day it is requested without a scheduling delay or waitlist for an initial appointment. The full diagnostic assessment completed during Open Access will be the determinant for what services are recommended for you. New Clients or individuals interested in starting services with Plains Area Mental Health Center are encouraged to come to one of our main office locations during our open access hours to start services.

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
