Job Title: Dental Assistant – Full-time
Location: General Dental Practice in LeMars and Cherokee, IA
We are a thriving general dental practice seeking an energetic and dedicated full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. If you are a QDA/CDA with expanded functions and ortho experience, we would love to have you on board! We take pride in providing quality dental care to a wonderful patient base, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with chairside procedures, taking X-rays, and providing patient care.
Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks as assigned by the dentist.
Maintain sterilization of instruments and dental equipment.
Educate patients on oral care and post-treatment instructions.
Perform expanded functions as permitted, such as placing and removing dental restorations, impressions, and other duties as required.
Assist with orthodontic procedures as needed.
Ensure proper documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
Requirements:
Previous dental assisting experience required.
X-ray certification is required.
Expanded functions and ortho experience are a plus.
Strong work ethic and a great attitude.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Team player with excellent communication skills.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
8-hour shifts
Expected hours: 34 – 38 per week
Compensation:
Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
