Meet Mary, our April Resident Spotlight! 🌟

Mary was born in Lawton, Iowa, and worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Sioux City from 1972 to 1992, dedicating many years to caring for others. While she isn’t much of a sports fan, she loved watching her grandchildren play and cheering them on. 🩺🥰

Mary’s favorite activity here is Hangman, and over the years she has also enjoyed many kinds of needlework and sewing. 🪡🧵

One of her favorite memories is spending summers with her cousin in California, taking road trips to places like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Disneyland. 🚗🌴

Her advice to young people is simple and wise: find a career and go to school for that. We are grateful for the kindness, experience, and stories Mary shares, and she brings such a wonderful presence to our days! 🧡
