(This is word for word my journal entry from April 1st)
Before leaving for Costa Rica I had a dream that I had a mouth that COULD open, but one that WOULDN’T.
This dream was massively disturbing and one that I didn’t understand until integrating retreat when I got home.
Over the course of our retreat I got to make contact with my sweetie peetie little love of an inner child. She is the one that helped me to open.
She is SO sweet and SO willing!
When offered something she smiles and says
“for me? Wow, Thank you!” and then partakes!
She is willing!!!!!
The powerful women don’t “know” or “do” or “look” just right.
The powerful women in this world are powerful because they say YES to their mouths and hearts being wide open to receive.
They are willing to risk discomfort to have their needs met.
On retreat we contemplated what kind of God we need.
(this is a great question to consider when you want to receive more, and this part in parentheses isn’t from my journal 😆)
I need a God that is generous and protective.
Am I open to receive the generosity and the protection given like her, like sweet little Carmen?
Starting this trip my mouth was closed.
Consumed by stress of the geopolitical climate, each part of me stifled and rittled with stress. And coming to Costa Rica has allowed time, space, receiving, community, and disconnecting from the day to day onslaught that was burying me.
My mouth is open. I am willing and receiving.
My creative juices and heart juices are flowing.
I AM OPEN
