Today at LVG we talked about what makes us happy! Residents had the opportunity to listen to some happy songs and reminisce about all the things that make them happy. “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” was added to the Library of Congress National Recording Registry in 1924 for its cultural significance and lasting impact on American music. We had a blast!

Happy Registered Dietician Day to Alexis Duxbury ! Registered dieticians are health professionals who study food, nutrition, and dietetics and use their knowledge to identify and solve nutritional problems. Lexi provides essential patient care that includes nutritional counseling, assessments, and meal planning. Her goal is to ensure that our residents are offered enjoyable food choices while maintaining healthy diets and weights. And she loves to occasionally splurge on Starbucks!
Thank you for all you do for our residents ❤️

Happy International Women's Day! International Women’s Day is always celebrated on March 8th annually, a date set by the United Nations in 1977 to recognize women's rights and international peace, stemming from early 20th-century labor movements and linked to events like the 1917 Russian Revolution. While its origins involved different dates, March 8th became the standardized day for this global observance of women's achievements and advocacy for equality.

I know some of you are probably doing some spring cleaning right about now. If you come across any small trinkets, small home decor items, stuffed animals, or little gift-type items you no longer want, please consider donating them! Bingo is one of our residents favorite activities, and they absolutely love having little prizes to win. Anything small helps and would be so appreciated! Thank You for helping bring some extra smiles to our residents!
