Sometimes making strides toward healthier eating is just a matter of rearranging your portions.

A rule of thumb is to fill half of your plate with vegetables or fruit. Veggies and fruit add color, flavor and texture, plus needed vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. Make it a goal to consume at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables (combined) every day.

Flu activity is high. The simplest steps can make a big difference: stay home when you’re sick, wash your hands often, and keep a safe distance from others. Taking these precautions helps prevent illnesses from spreading further.

If you must leave home, it's a also a good idea to wear a mask when in public-facing areas to help prevent the spread of germs and to keep your community safe.
