Nothing cuter than a pile of puppies! Today we did exams and vaccines for 8 “American Bully” pups before they go to their new homes! 2 males and 6 females, healthy and happy! Had to share 🐾

Hello Everyone! Just a few announcements and updates on some changes coming in the next month/ as we head into the fall.
Our family will be out of town 8/1-8/10, we will be traveling to the east coast to visit family before our girls start school again on 8/11. We do have open appointments next week and the following week, if you are having any concerns with your pet please get them booked for an exam or reach out to us with any questions before 7/31.

Some changes in our hours will be necessary due to changes in Ashley's competition gymnastics team practice times in BV changing as she rises to a Platinum level gymnast this August- we are very proud of her and are committed to her success! We are also working around school calendars and childcare availability for our recently turned 3 year old, Julianna ❤ Thank you for your understanding!

Hello, my name is Melissa Hillery. I am a Leadville local who is excited to be working with Dr. Jen and Dr. Paul. I am a veterinary technician who has previously worked at an animal clinic in Dillon, CO and several other clinics in Illinois and Wisconsin. I have a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in animal ecology, wildlife management and veterinary technician certifications. I am originally from Rockford, IL but have moved around the Midwest working various animal jobs. I have not only worked in veterinary clinics but also in wildlife rescues, wildlife rehabilitation centers, wildlife education and training and even was a zookeeper! I am an animal lover to my core and animals are my passion. I also run my own pet sitting business! I love helping out the Leadville community and their amazing animals. My favorite activities are dog ski joring, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, snowboarding and camping. MEET THE ARTISTS - JEN SIKOSKI is thrilled to be returning to the stage at The Tabor and to have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of artists! Originally from New Jersey, Jen and her family relocated last summer from Florida to join the Leadville community and open Leadville’s first mobile veterinary clinic- “Modern Mobile Vet.” Jen has been involved in musical theater since she was in middle school and was so grateful to perform with last summer’s incredible cast of Into The Woods as Rapunzel. Other memorable roles include Lady Catherine in Pippin, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro at The George Washington University, and Kristine in A Chorus Line at The Henegar Center, Melbourne FL. Extra special thanks and love going out to husband Paul and daughters Ashley and Julianna for going on this adventure with her, to David and Kerri C. for their encouragement, and to The Northcraft family for being our guides on all things “Leadville”- we wouldn’t be here without you!

Dr. Jen is thrilled to have been chosen to be a part of “Stars, Song, and Stories” at the Tabor Opera House this Saturday, July 12 at 7:00 PM!! In preparation for the performance, we will be closed on Friday 7/11.

This musical r***e brings together Broadway’s Christiane Noll, Jamie LaVerdiere with local favorites Scott Carroll, Celesta Cairns, and a cast of incredible local talent for an evening rooted in imagination, resilience, and the power of live performance. We hope to see you there!

Please note that we will be closed this Friday (July 4th) through next weekend.

🐾 If your pets are sensitive to loud noises like fireworks💥 PLEASE message or email us ASAP to request a calming medication so that we have enough time to fill the prescriptions and arrange pickup.

🚑 If you have any concerns that you would like addressed before the holiday weekend, please head straight to our website and schedule an exam/consultation through the portal. Appointments are still available this M, T and Thurs.

✅ Be sure to update and check microchip info, and secure pets inside before the festivities begin.

Is your pet microchipped? Did you register their chip number and is your information up to date? Microchipping is an inexpensive way of increasing the odds your pet will find their way back to you if they get lost. If you’re not sure if your pet has a chip, we can easily scan them at your next visit and give you their number!
