Dear Beloved Community,
After four weeks in the jungles and mountains of Colombia, I have been back in Buena Vista for nearly as long - and yet my time in Colombia feels like lifetimes. Lifetimes of ceremony, of beauty, and of experiences that I will be reflecting on and integrating for many moons to come.
It is a phenomenal experience to be immersed inside of another culture; a unique web of understanding, a foreign matrix, and yet no matter how many subtle differences there are, there remains a connected truth. The truth that we share the same inherent frequency of love at our core - because at our human essence, we are all seeking authentic connection and a safe place to simply be. Love is what brings us into the present moment. Love is the great calling. And there are infinite paths that remind us how to return—every one of them needed.
I arrive with new methods, many synchronistic alignments and the deepest gratitude for my opportunity to be here and to be in service to my community.
In deeper and more curious ways, I continue to remember in the depth of my soul that Love is what anchors me to my purpose in this lifetime. In Colombia, ceremonial space, native medicines, and community brought me home again. The northern realms of my body—my busy mind—softened into my heart. Darkness gave way to seed, to cracking open, to remembering. My ceremony of life found rhythm again through, earth, vine, and medicine…through frogs and the humming of birds and the humming of souls helping me to remember what I never lost, just simply forgot.
For those that have been following along with me this past year - I have gone through enormous change within my personal life and my own consciousness. I am grateful for all of it and it has been deeply challenging. When I left for Colombia, my intention was to return with a bit more clarity about my current path, and I believe I did indeed find that - not the clarity of precision - but the clarity that the change I continue to endure is of deep purpose and alignment and that it is safe to surrender to what is moving through, in, and around me.
And the Earth calls her children home in remarkable ways. In January, I was gifted 1lb of cacao - and although I have partaken in cacao rituals before - I had never brewed and drank cacao regularly with deep intention. But after three weeks of daily cacao and intention setting, it was undeniable that she was a catalyst in beginning my journey to return home (to myself) and return to safety within my own body. And the threads have only deepened and it is with great love that I share this opportunity to contribute to such an important cause that helps to give back to the land and the people that have been nothing short of life changing for me.

An Invitation to Plant Love Back into the Earth:
One way I feel called to give back to Pachamama and the people that protect her is by supporting a dear friend's mission: Calling in Love Cacao. This project is devoted to planting cacao and endemic trees and strengthening connection with indigenous communities who steward the land and protect our Mother Earth in the northern jungles and Sierra Madre mountains of Colombia known as El Corazon del Mundo - the heart of the world.
Michael Pollan wrote in his book The Botany of Desire, that plants, too, are domesticating us—calling us closer for their own wise purposes. I feel that truth deeply. The vines, the trees, the animals—they open to the souls ready to cultivate relationship to the awakening they offer us. Planting a tree is a small act, but one that ripples out in infinite ways, reconnecting us with the great web of life.
