On International Firefighters’ Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and to recognize all firefighters for their commitment to serving others.

Responding to countless emergencies, firefighters continually answer the call with courage, professionalism, and selflessness. Whether career or volunteer, the risks they face remain the same and so does their dedication to protecting their communities

Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to thank the firefighters in your life-past and present for their service, their sacrifice, and their steadfast commitment to keeping others safe. 🔥🚒

This system has the potential to produce damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes.

Please take time to prepare:

🔦 Keep flashlights, batteries, and/or generators ready
🌪️ Be prepared to seek shelter quickly if conditions worsen
📃 Review your family emergency and safety plan

Our crews stayed busy throughout March, responding to 67 calls for service, bringing our first quarter total to 150 calls.

During the month, our personnel dedicated a combined 154.5 hours to training and 226 combined station hours!

We are proud of the dedication our members continue to show both on calls and behind the scenes. 🚨 💪🏼
