Starting and running Balsamroot Botanicals has been a great experience, but just as the seasons change, so do priorities. Between getting a promotion at work last year and starting grad school in a few weeks, I have decided that it is time for me to shift my focus away from my business. I am closing Balsamroot Botanicals, but I will of course continue to work with herbs in my personal life and hope to remain a resource for anyone who has questions about herbs. Whether it was by donating to my GoFundMe, purchasing my products, or inviting me to harvest herbs on your property, I am very grateful to everyone who supported me on this journey and helped make Balsamroot Botanicals happen!

In light of my business closing, all of my products on my website are now 25% off.

I’ve made the difficult decision not to participate in the farmer’s market this year. I loved being a part of it last year, but I’ve been promoted a work and that is where I’m putting the majority of my energy right now. I’m still making products, but the farmer’s market is where I made most of my sales last year, so if you’ve enjoyed my products, please continue to support me by purchasing products through my website. If you’re local I’ll even deliver them right to your door for free!

1/2 Tbsp dried ginger
1/2 Tbsp dried turmeric
1/2 Tbsp cinnamon chips
1/2 tsp cardamom seeds

I like to add 5-6 cups of boiling water to my herbs and then keep it warm on my stove (covered) for at least an hour. Then I store it in a jar in my fridge and enjoy a cup of it every day!
