My boss turned friend, two coworkers and one of their husbands came over last night for a disassembly and packing party!

I know I am fortunate to have people who will come do heavy lifting and help wrap all the breakable things. I am thankful that I get to call everyone here not only a friend, but family too. I will miss this location, and part of me will always call it Home.

We are 5 days until all of our things get loaded.

Life Family Chiropractic is hiring for a chiropractic assistant to help run our front desk and navigate patient care!

Duties include:
- patient scheduling and first encounters
- organizing insurance into EHR software
- office admin of scanning and faxing
- assisting in holding babies and playing with kids while parents get treated
- cleaning and office upkeep

Must have:
- a clean criminal background (we will check) and good references
- looking for a perfect person that has upbeat and positive energy with our patients while also staying organized with daily tasks
- required computer skills of speed and quickness including the ability to use excel, word, train with EHR, and manage high volume patient flow
- multi-tasking strengths is highly desired

Hours NEEDED & Pay:
- Tuesday - Thursday from 12:00pm - 6:30pm
- Fridays from 8am - 2pm
- Available if another assistant is sick or on vacation
- Starting probationary pay is $18.50 with a 90 day raise

Stop by this week only for an application:
Today until 5pm
Tuesday - Thursday anytime between 9am - 6pm
Friday 9am - 1pm

Did you know many of our active patients come in regularly and even when they feel good? They have done it for years. Why? Because our spine and body is meant to move. The nervous system is meant to talk to organs, muscles, and skin. Pain is just a red light indicator of something dysfunctional or injured. We want those indicators calmed down and preventatively down so the body can focus on the bigger pictures.

Every organ is hot wired by a nerve.
Every muscle is hot wired by a nerve.
Every skin sensation is hot wired by a nerve.

Spinal movement keeps discs hydrated and aid the nervous system since they act as shock absorbers, provide space for a nerve to floss between vertebra and assist in how far we can move left / right / up / down.

This week was full of chiropractic adjustments galore. Dr. Jamie often utilizes dry needling to help with some of those pesky stubborn areas in muscles after an adjustment. Dr. Kristen found time to have some fun with kids and a patient signed her published book!
