Driving from Manhattan to Leavenworth this morning I observed a pair of deer run across the divided highway (US 24) in front of a car maybe 100 meters ahead of me; the car slowed down enough to let the first deer get by but hit the second deer on its back half and sent it flying off the shoulder.
It reminded me of the second segment of the attached video, but there is still a clear difference between an actual impact and the close call!
Visual examples of 'almost' getting significantly hurt that can result in apprehension; similar muscular behavior is observed after 'mild' strains
Physical therapist with focus on neuromuscular related concerns. Available in Leavenworth on alternating Saturdays.
