What a fantastic way to spend Mother's Day morning.

Thank you to all who stopped by to chat and took a shot at our Guess the Price contest at Tuesday's Community Engagement Night at the Festhalle!

Guesses on the cost of the digital mammography machine that will be part of our 2027 fundraising campaign ranged from $10,000 to $3 million.

Congrats to James Moore! His guess of $375,000 came closest to the quoted price of $398,122, winning him tickets to our Aug. 29 Jive Time in the Cascades concert at Silvara Cellars, featuring Bandits of the Animal Kingdom.

Well done, James!

And a shout out to the city for organizing the Community Engagement Night! It was a fun and enjoyable evening.

Well done, Katie! Keep up the good work!

Meet Katie Larsen, Medical Laboratory Technician and one of this year’s scholarship recipients.

For nearly 10 years, Katie has been a dedicated part of Cascade Medical, supporting patients and colleagues behind the scenes in the lab.

Through the Mark Judy Memorial Caregiver Education Fund, she is completing her Bachelor’s in Laboratory Science and working toward national certification.

Katie’s continued growth will strengthen laboratory services and expand what we’re able to offer our community.

We’re proud to support her journey and the commitment she brings to both her patients and her team every day.

Meet Byron Walker, EMT and one of this year’s scholarship recipients.

Over the past three years at Cascade Medical, Byron has built a strong foundation in emergency care and is now continuing his training at Central Washington University to become a paramedic.

Through the Cascade Medical Foundation’s Mark Judy Memorial Caregiver Education Fund, Byron is continuing to grow his skills, strengthening both our EMS team and the care we provide to the community.
