Giving thanks….

to my amazing staff. i’m working late on thanksgiving eve. too many piles to walk away from. my inpatient nurses brought me a thanksgiving meal at my desk. honestly, an amazing crew.

Thanks to Kansas City’s most amazing nursing unit. I tell our clinical managers that I expect them to be the best OR, PACU, Radiology Department, Inpatient Unit, etc. in the City. And I mean it. And I believe that they really are.

Thank you to all our KCOI departments for making us Number One in Kansas!

…and for a turkey dinner when the evening wears on!

Rounding out another great weekend arthroscopy course.

This is a terrific group of surgeons who all volunteer their time. Taking time away from their families and practices to give back to the profession. They have become a special set of friends that I value seeing each year while we give back together as a group.
