Today I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everything you have shared with me this year. The highs, the lows, the wins, the losses, the big and the small stuff that just happens to come up in therapy. I'm grateful for it all. And I'm grateful that you trusted me to witness these moments.

I am honored that you feel safe in my presence to dip into the vulnerability of sharing your life. The weight of that privilege if never lost on me.

The Brookwood Parent Support group is organized around the philosophy that it takes a village to raise a child, and the Brookwood community is our village. The 2025-26 school year has been a challenging one for many Brookwood families with unforeseen staffing changes, student injuries and staff ailments, and what seems to be near-constant threats to public school funding. It's a hard time to be a parent! This group is here to offer a safe space to give and receive support in navigating these - and many other - challenges.
