ABOUT THE PRESENTER(S):
Shontay Patterson is the Residency Administrator for OMECO/OSU Family Medicine Residency program. She has been in her current position since 2009 and with the department of family medicine at her institution (OSU Center for Health Sciences) since 2005. She has a master’s degree in Collegiate Scholarships & Services and Health Care Administration. She currently serves on the OSU-CHS Affirmative Action OSU-CHS Employee Wellness, OSU-CHS Mental Health, OSU-CHS Workplace Ergonomic & OSU-CHS Physical Activity Task Force committees within my institution. I also serve on the AFMA Board of Directors along with being co-chair of the mentoring committee.

I am the proud mother of a 27-year-old son, a Noni to two of the best sidekicks (grandbabies). In my spare time, I love going to Crossfit (yes, I know that’s not everyone’s idea of fun lol), listening to live music, tailgating, buying tennis shoes I don’t need and attending football/basketball games.
