Right here at TVL, we are making miracles happen for animals searching for their forever homes. Our residents pulled together and donated to KCK Animal Services, and one of the shelter dogs, Beverly, greeted everyone she met with kisses and lots of love. 🐾❤️

We were delighted to welcome the Dickens Carolers to our community today! They joined us during dinner, floating from table to table, filling the room with classic carols and cheerful conversation.

The holiday spirit was truly alive—one of our residents even jumped in and played the spoons, adding an extra bit of fun and laughter to the evening! (check out the last photo)🥄🎶

We are so grateful for the joy the carolers brought as they shared music, smiles, and seasonal cheer with our residents.

🎄 Holiday Heirloom Spotlight: Judy’s Jewelry Trees
This holiday season, we’re celebrating Judy and her incredible talent for transforming meaningful jewelry into stunning keepsake trees. The piece shown in our photo features items from friends, family, and sweet reminders of her grandchildren—each piece holding a memory.

This year Judy is even crafting a special tree for a member of the staff using jewelry they’ve collected over the years. She’s thoughtfully designing and framing it so their memories can shine for many holidays to come.

Hot Cocoa Social ☕️
This past Friday, we warmed up with a cozy Hot Cocoa Social! Our chef spoiled us with homemade hot chocolate, fresh scones, and muffins — but as always, the best part was the wonderful company.

We were treated to the sweetest performance from the Leawood School Choir. The kids brought music makers so we could join in the fun, and they gifted us all with heartfelt, homemade Christmas cards. What a joyful way to celebrate the season! 🎶❤️🎄

We love starting our Tuesdays and Thursdays with Water Aerobics led by Katie! Not only is she part of our Sales Team, but she also brings amazing energy to the pool.

With snow on the ground and cheers all around, we decorated our Christmas Tree. From dramatic bow-making to seeing who could launch ornaments the highest, the laughter never stopped. Nothing like friends gathering around the tree to kick off the Christmas spirit! 🎄😄✨

We had an absolute blast at our Music Bingo event this week! Residents tested their memory with classic TV theme songs from decades past — identifying the shows, singing along, and sharing wonderful memories sparked by each tune.

It was such a joy to hear the room filled with laughter, guesses, and “Oh, I remember this one!” moments.
