Worried about the recovery? Don't be! Here are some helpful tips!

❔ Bruising. Bruising and swelling will appear in the first few days after having a facelift. We like to prepare our patients and when looking for a procedure date, you want to be sure your schedule is free of any big events!

❔ Incisions. Once healed, the incision lines are well hidden within the hairline and in the natural contours of the ear and face.

Are you a good candidate for surgery? A patient with deep creases throughout the face, fat that has fallen, loose or sagging skin throughout the face or loss of skin tone in the lower area that is creating jowls are all signs that you could be a potential candidate for surgery!

We know it can be frustrating when medical opinions are different.

What is the best way? Asking multiple physicians, and getting a confident answer from each one, can be frustrating.

Dr. Sheryl Young's best advice is to find a surgeon that best fits you and your needs. One who listens to the changes that you are hoping to see and one that does not pressure you into a procedure that you are not ready for or wanting.
