Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Danny Rhea and Rev. Michael Rhea officiating.

Interment will follow at Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon.

Pallbearers will be Brenton Powers, William “Bo” Rhea, Jackie “Junebug” Rhea, Leslie Rhea, Carl “Peanut” Rhea, Allen “Fruit” Rhea, Zach Cornett, Gary Cornett.

Family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

LaMont L Pedersen, 83, of Cleveland, Virginia, passed away at his home on Friday, April 3, 2026. Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on June 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Antone Pedersen and Helen Tallman Pedersen.

He worked for 28 years and retired from Chrysler Corporation. He enjoyed being outside, woodworking, and camping.

Survivors include his wife. Mickey Lane Pedersen, family and friends.

Special thanks to Gene and Wanda Gay Hall, Dr. Harman and staff of C-Health, ICU physicians and staff, especially Kayla RN at Russell County Hospital, Angel Care Hospice staff and a special thank you to Maxie and the Life Saving Crew of Cleveland, Va.

A memorial service will be held at Ivy Ridge Chapel in Cleveland, Va., at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, with Pastor Danny Rhea officiating.
