We are pleased to share a recent patient testimonial from Nancy, and we’re grateful to have her as part of our Lebanon family ✨

Patient Testimonial: “There has been a big improvement since Mark has become the Activity Director. We actually look forward to seeing him, more than we did the others. He has great ideas, I love the way he decorates for holidays and parties. I always enjoy when he is able to come to the activities and participate, like dancing with us.”

Nancy M.

Thank you, Nancy, for trusting us to be part of your care journey!

🧠💜 The Power of Us. The Power of Now.

Lillian Reda, Genesis' National Director of Memory Support Clinical Practice and Education, recently attended the Alzheimer's Association Community Leaders Summit in Anaheim, CA.

This inspiring gathering brings together community leaders from across the country to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and advance a collective vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia. The summit energizes participants to expand outreach, support, and impact in communities nationwide.

Reflecting on the experience, Lillian shared, “It was truly an impactful learning and networking experience. The ‘purple’ passion among attendees, the powerful personal stories shared, and the insights into the current momentum in care and treatment advancements were not only inspiring but absolutely energizing.”

Genesis is also proud to mark 17 years of participation as a National Team supporting Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Do What You Love to End ALZ, along with our continued efforts to expand access to education, support programs, advocacy, and research.

Our cookie swap filled the facility with holiday cheer… and several dozen calories. At Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation staff put their baking skills to the test with a homemade cookie swap. Each staff member gifted a bag of delicious cookies to one another and bragging rights went to the best baker. Nothing brings coworkers together like a table full of homemade cookies. Sweet moments all around!🎄

Our Leading with the Heart winner this past week is our wonderful housekeeper, Jessica. The category she fit under is Heart of the Matter which means going above and beyond to serve our patients, residents, and their families. It's about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Jessica helps others with a good attitude and a smile on her face. She is often seen answering call bells and offers to go to store to pick up things for the residents when she is not working. She is known to cover open shifts when her department needs help and is a great coworker and friend to all. Jessica we thank you for all your dedication to your job and our residents and we want you to know we appreciate you.🙌👏
