For 16 years, Tiara has been an incredible part of this team. She brings knowledge, compassion, and dedication to every shift. As a dual-certified nurse and paramedic, she brings a level of experience and skill that makes a difference not only for our patients, but for our entire crew.

She’s the kind of teacher who takes the time to help others grow, the kind of teammate everyone can count on, and the kind of friend who cares deeply about her people. Her impact reaches far beyond the job itself, and we are so lucky to work alongside her.

We are incredibly fortunate to have this team of nurses at 173 who show up every day ready to deliver high-acuity, critical care in the most dynamic environment there is. From rapid assessment to high stakes decision making at altitude, this group consistently brings expertise, calm under pressure, and patient advocacy when every second counts. Even with years of exposure to the hardest moments in medicine, this team continues to lead with compassion. Never losing sight of the person behind every call, every patient, and every flight.

Members of Air Evac 173 recently had the opportunity to attend the Central Kentucky Pediatric Care Symposium at Campbellsville University.

We are grateful for the high-quality education and hands-on skills provided throughout the event, all of which help us better care for our pediatric patients in the communities we serve.

Opportunities like this allow us to continue growing, refining our practice, and delivering the highest level of care when it matters most.

Yesterday, Saturday, April 25th, Air Evac 173 had the pleasure of attending the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Family Fun Day.

We were honored to participate alongside our local law enforcement, EMS, and fire partners in such a great community event. It was a fantastic day filled with fellowship, connection, and the opportunity to engage with the community we proudly serve.

Events like this remind us how strong our partnerships are and how important it is to stay connected with those we serve every day.

The Air Evac 173 crew for the day included Flight Paramedic J. Spalding, Flight Nurse D. DeBoard, and Pilot S. Stringer.
