What better day to (re)introduce you to Cumberland Skin’s founder, Julie Countess, MD, than on National Women Physicians Day?! 🥼🩺

Dr. Countess opened the doors to Cumberland Skin with a simple but powerful goal: to provide thoughtful, patient-centered dermatologic care rooted in expertise, trust, and compassion. From day one, her vision and leadership have shaped the way we care for our patients — and it still does today.

As we continue re-introducing the providers who make up our practice, today felt like the perfect moment to pause and celebrate the woman who started it all.

Barbara has been caring for patients in our community for many years, and her knowledge, compassion, and steady presence are a true asset to our Lebanon office. As a board-certified PA in dermatology since 2001, she brings decades of experience, thoughtful care, and genuine kindness to every patient she sees.

And of course, we can’t forget her daily sidekick — CJ 🐶 — who makes every workday just a little brighter. If you’ve been in our Lebanon office, you know they’re a package deal 💛

🤍 We’ll Be Open Tomorrow 🤍

We plan to reopen our Hermitage, Lebanon, and Cookeville office locations tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, with normal hours from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

We know this past ice storm has been especially hard on many families and communities across our area, and that some are still without power or facing ongoing challenges. Please know we’re thinking of you and sending love to everyone who was impacted.

We’re grateful to be able to safely welcome patients back and truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you need flexibility with your appointment or extra support, our team is always here to help.
