I understand reframing how we think about food is hard. The American culture is centered around food and primarily packaged, ultra processed non-food so when you are trying to heal your body and you need to remove inflammatory foods, it can feel like there’s nothing left to eat when there’s actually everything God designed us to eat left. Meat, fruit, vegetables, nut seeds, whole grains. I truly believe if most people ate this way so much of sickness and disease would fall away.
Start slow but start somewhere! Here are a few easy tips for getting started.
1. Consume 30 to 40 g of protein in every meal.
2. Eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal.
3. Limit eating out to one or two times a week.
4. Focus on animal protein, starchy, carbs, fruits, leafy greens and healthy fats, like avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, oil, and egg yolks
