I’m often asked how I got into aesthetics. I’ve never really had more than, “I saw an opportunity and took it” for an answer. The opportunity came at a point in my life that I needed a change, better life-work balance, challenge, something different & happy. Aesthetics was never “my thing,” but three years into aesthetic business ownership, it is my “thing.” Sure, I love the outward beautiful results I do for patients, but I love even more the effects my work has on the INSIDE for my patients. The following picture is a prime example. When a patient has suffered the effects of severe acne scarring for years and finally reaches out for treatment and you see this one week after first treatment in a series of three, you just smile (still healing and peeling, but just look at the acne scar improvement)! To hear the “happy tears” and know you are making a positive difference in someone’s life is what it’s all about. Photos are never shared by Soul to Soul Aesthetics without the patient’s consent. I am grateful that this beautiful lady gave me permission to share her progress with others and show what is possible with treatment. So, now, the answer to, “why did you get into aesthetics?,” the answer is simple and from the heart, “To make a positive difference in people’s lives.”
