CREST-Center for Rural Emergency Services and Trauma CREST is a Dartmouth-Hitchcock based collaborative program of 18 critical access and community hospitals in northern New England.

CREST Mission

To improve the care of rural patients through support of high quality local care whenever possible and efficient access to specialty care when necessary. Objectives for the Network


1. Explore opportunities to enhance education, skills training, and support for rural emergency and trauma providers.

2. Assess transfer process, opportunities and barriers for improved patient flow through our regional health care system.

3. Identify patient populations and clinical outcomes that would benefit from the development of shared evidenced-based protocols.

4. Explore opportunities to enhance communication and assure best efforts are used to appropriately share clinical information.

Expressions of Clinician Well-Being at DHMC May 2021!

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Office on Employee Well-Being, in partnership with the D-H Arts Program and Live Well Work Well, is hosting an exhibit from the National Academy of Medicine called Expressions of Clinician Well-Being (https://nam.edu/expressclinicianwellbeing/ #/artwork)

The Exhibit will be at DHMC for the month of May, which is also Mental Health Awareness Month. We are planning a series of programs in conjunction with the exhibition and opportunities for creative expressions with the D-H Arts Creative Arts Team.

If you're attending MME on May 19th, please take a look at this great exhibit which will be held outside of Auditoria E&F throughout the month of May!
