A 93-year-old gentleman living with dementia is reminded by his family of the incredible legacy he built by researching women’s reproductive health. Though dementia has taken pieces of his memory, it has not taken his worth, his impact, or who he is.

Sometimes, even a wild and stormy weekend turns into a little miracle.

With the weather surprises and a few necessary call-offs, George and I found ourselves rearranging schedules and giving a few rides to our wonderful caregivers. In the process, we discovered a few extra ways we could step in and support these incredible people who care for our clients.

I’m just so grateful that every shift was covered, every caregiver was supported, and that we all felt that wave of love and community. It’s moments like these that remind me how blessed we are to be part of something so much bigger than ourselves. 💙
