LIHEAP Spring Subsidy is NOW OPEN!

Starting today, we are accepting applications for the LIHEAP Spring Subsidy Cooling Component for residents in our eight county-service region. As the temperatures rise, we want to help you keep your home cool and your electric bills manageable.

What you need to know:

Who can apply: Households at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

What: A one-time benefit ($41–$250) paid directly to your electric vendor.

Deadline: Now through May 22 (or until funds run out).

Don’t wait! This is first-come, first-served program. Get the help you need before the money runs out.

Kentucky Medicaid, Department of Juvenile Justice have partnered to identify eligible Kentuckians as they approach release from custody. Eligible inmates can now get limited Medicaid coverage targeted to their specific needs. This makes sure that upon returning home, medications and essential services are in place to give them the best chance of success.

Yesterday, Dariann had the opportunity to share valuable resources at the Community Baby Shower held at Adair County Elementary School. This wonderful event was sponsored by Adair County FRYSC, KY-ASAP, and the Green River Early Childhood Council of Adair County.
In addition, Dariann presented on “Caring for You While Caring for Baby: Important Facts on Maternal Mental Health,” highlighting the importance of supporting mothers’ well-being during the postpartum period.
Thank you to all the organizations and families who made this event such a success for our community.
