Compeer of Lebanon County We provide support to people living with mental health challenges through friendship matches, social events, trainings, and community education.

Compeer friendship matches enhance and support wellness and a sense of belonging within our community. Compeer exists for the purpose of matching caring adults in one-to-one supportive friendships with people of the same gender who are recovering from a mental illness. Compeer provides comprehensive training, helps with selecting a friendship connection and offers ongoing support every step of the way. "If you care, you qualify!"

Compeer of Lebanon County first opened its doors in May 1999; today it provides 4 main programs to the citizens of Lebanon County. They include the main Compeer friendship program; CompeerCorps, which is specific to military veterans; the youth mentoring program; and support group services. In addition, Compeer offers free social events that clients and volunteers can attend each month, as well as a monthly veteran breakfast at Heiseyโ€™s Diner that is free to all veterans! Compeer of Lebanon County is dedicated to helping its clients in Lebanon County on their journey to mental health recovery through friendship, support, and community! We are three months out from the 2026 Fort Indiantown Gap open house! The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6. There will be a flyover, vehicle displays, food vendors, military training exercises, live music, a climbing wall and a bounce house.

Accessing post will be less restrictive during the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to avoid parking delays.

The open house will be held rain or shine.
