WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT!

Most orthotics are made in a neutral cast, which gives some support but doesn’t maximize the foot’s full potential.

Our orthotics are designed using the Windlass Mechanism.
By capturing each foot with the big toe is raised, the arch shortens and rises naturally.
This creates maximum functional arch support for each individual and each foot individually for comfort and performance.
Then we chose the best materials to allow your foot to flex allowing your foot to function as it would while walking on natural terrain. Or complete soft cushioning to relieve calluses, or metatarsal pain.

WHY WE’RE DIFFERENT
Most orthotics are made in a neutral cast creating some support but not maximizing the full capabilities of your foot.
We use the Windlass Effect of each individual foot to gain the highest functional arch support we can for comfort and performance.
So what is the Windlass Effect?
The Windlass Mechanism is a natural system in the foot that helps create stability during walking and running.
When the big toe bends upward (extends) during the push-off phase of walking, the plantar fascia—a strong band of tissue along the bottom of the foot—tightens. This tightening pulls the heel and forefoot closer together, which raises and stiffens the arch of the foot. As the arch lifts, the foot becomes a rigid lever, allowing the body to push off the ground more efficiently.
When the foot is flat or poorly supported, the windlass mechanism may not function properly. This can place extra strain on the plantar fascia and surrounding structures,
Orthotics help by supporting the arch and improving foot alignment, which can allow the windlass mechanism to work more effectively during walking and running

Common Foot Conditions Helped by Orthotics

Heel & Arch Pain
Plantar Fasciitis – Reduces strain on the plantar fascia by supporting the arch.

Heel Spurs –
Offloads pressure from the heel and reduces irritation.

Plantar Fasciitis – Provides mechanical support during healing.
Tendon & Overuse Injuries

Achilles Tendinitis – Helps reduce strain by controlling pronation.

Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction –
Orthotics help support the arch and reduce tendon overload.

Peroneal Tendonitis
Forefoot Pain
Metatarsalgia – Redistributes pressure across the forefoot.

Morton's Neuroma –
Met pads can reduce nerve compression.
Sesamoiditis
Structural Foot Problems
Flat Feet – Arch support improves alignment.
High Arches – Cushioning and pressure redistribution.

Hallux Valgus –
Reduces abnormal loading on the forefoot.
Hammertoe

Skin & Pressure Problems
Calluses –
Offloading pressure areas.

Corns
Diabetic Foot Ulcers – Preventative offloading.

Conditions Affecting the Whole Lower Body
Orthotics can also help conditions higher up the kinetic chain:

Shin Splints
Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome
