We had such a blast gathering everyone for a lively game of bingo today! The excitement was even greater because Daisy joined us as our special bingo caller. It was pure joy seeing everyone’s faces light up – after all, who doesn’t love a fun game of BINGO!

What a fun way to kick off our Monday afternoon – an afternoon at the races! Everyone had such a blast cheering on their horses down the track. You’re probably wondering, just like we did, how in the world do you get these horses to move? Well, with every correct trivia answer, your horse moves one space, but if you’re lucky enough to roll the magic number, your horse can gallop ahead by six! The room was filled with so many smiles and so much laughter – it truly was a joyful time for everyone.

What a beautiful break we had today from all this hot and humid weather. As I stepped outside to enjoy it, I saw Marlin soaking it all in too. I asked him if he was enjoying the day, and with the biggest smile he said, “Yes, I am! I’m so excited to sit out here and write a letter to my daughter.” My heart just melted – what a special moment.

We had a special visit today by Kona Ice!! Sweet treats for our residents, their families and the local community as we beat the heat with refreshing shaved ice all while raising awareness about Alzheimer’s/Dementia “The Longest Day” with the Alzheimer’s Association. We even had a visit from Mr. Wiggy the cat!

Father's Day holds such a special place in our hearts, and we couldn't have imagined a more meaningful way to celebrate. Watching all the amazing dads surrounded by their children, sharing laughter, love, and unforgettable moments, filled the day with joy and warmth. Our hearts were full, and smiles were everywhere. Happy Father's Day to all the incredible fathers-you are so deeply loved and appreciated.
