Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most diagnosed cancer in the US. But the good news is there are more than 1.5 million survivors of colorectal cancer in the United States. Because colorectal cancer is preventable with screening. Colorectal cancer doesn't always show symptoms—that's why it's so important to get screened. If you're 45 or older, it's time to get screened. Find any potential warning signs of colon cancer early, when treatment is most effective. Talk to your provider about scheduling your colonoscopy.

🚧 A Big Day for the Future of Healthcare at Spring View Hospital! 🚧

Today, we proudly celebrated the groundbreaking of our Surgical Services Expansion, an exciting step forward in enhancing the care we provide to our community.

Once complete, our surgical department will expand from four operating rooms to five, while continuing to offer an endoscopy room and procedure room. The project will also include a new equipment storage space, upgraded sterilization technology, and improvements that will allow for a more efficient surgical patient flow — from pre-op to surgery, recovery, and discharge. These improvements will help us serve more patients while maintaining the high-quality, compassionate care our community expects from Spring View Hospital.

We are also excited to share another milestone happening on our campus. Beginning March 16, our partners at Air Evac Lifeteam will start construction on a new 2,000-square-foot aircraft hangar for Air Evac 173, which has been based at Spring View Hospital since November 1, 2021.

This investment, funded entirely by Global Medical Response, will allow the helicopter to be housed directly on campus, improving response times, protecting the aircraft during inclement weather, and allowing on-site maintenance to keep the aircraft mission-ready.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Air Evac and their commitment to serving our region alongside us.

As a hospital recognized with Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade “A” ratings, Spring View Hospital remains dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care close to home. These projects represent our continued investment in the health and future of the communities we serve.
