Celebrating 15 years of The Woodlands! 🎉 These photos provide a look at the earliest days of one of this region’s premier retirement communities. On Aug. 20, 2008, the groundbreaking ceremony for The Woodlands drew nearly 40 prospective residents to the wooded hillside above Harvest Hill. Nearly 2 years of blasting and construction preceded Opening Day: June 1, 2010. The first resident at The Woodlands was David M.
