BREAKING: Republican Senator Rand Paul drops a bomb on Pete Hegseth and demands that he testify "under oath" about his murderous "double-tap" strike on the survivors of a Caribbean boat attack.

And it gets so much worse for Trump...

“I think he should testify under oath about the orders that were given, and I think that the video of the distressed, shipwrecked or incapacitated people on those boats being bombed, that video should be shown to every American,” Paul said.

Paul has been an outspoken critic of the Trump administration's campaign of indiscriminate murder in the Caribbean and has taken particular issue with the recent report that Hegseth ordered the military to launch a second strike on survivors clinging to the wreckage of a destroyed ship.

“Secretary Hegseth said he had no knowledge of this, and it did not happen. It was fake news. It didn’t happen,” Paul said earlier this week. “And then the next day, from the podium of the White House, they’re saying it did happen. So, either he was lying to us on Sunday, or he’s incompetent and didn’t know it had happened."

The double-tap scandal has been dominating the headlines all week and is just the latest scandal that the deeply incompetent Hegseth has found himself at the center of since taking power. It was also revealed by the Pentagon's Inspector General that Hegseth's "Signalgate" fiasco "created a risk to operational security" for American service members. Clearly, he is profoundly unfit to serve as Secretary of Defense.

Paul's call for Hegseth to testify should be immediately heeded. If the Secretary did nothing wrong, he has nothing to fear. If instead he chooses to lie under oath, he could be prosecuted for perjury.
