Today we are honored to celebrate these two incredible women who serve as Peer Support Specialists at Lane Change. Their journeys are one’s of transformation and perseverance.

✨ Stacy celebrated 5 years in recovery on March 5th!
✨ Beth will celebrate 4 years in recovery tomorrow, March 19th!

“One day at a time” isn’t just a phrase—it’s a life lived with courage, commitment, and hope. These milestones represent countless choices to keep going, to grow, and to believe in something better.🌱🌸

We are so proud of you both. Your stories inspire others and remind us all that recovery is possible. 🤍

Keep shining. ✨ Keep showing others the way.

Today we celebrated another Laclede County Treatment Court graduation — a powerful reminder that recovery is possible.

Treatment Court is more than a program. It’s accountability, support, and the opportunity for individuals to rebuild their lives one step at a time.

Graduation represents months (and often years) of hard work, honesty, and perseverance. It takes courage to face the past, commit to change, and walk a new path forward.

Today we honor those who made that commitment and stayed the course.

Your recovery is proof that transformation is possible when people are given support, structure, and hope.

Congratulations to all the graduates — your community is proud of you. 👏🏼

✨ Recovery Milestone ✨

Today marks 5 years since Jeff first walked through the doors of Lane Change.

Jeff originally came to Lane Change while on probation after a dirty UA. His probation officer told him he needed to attend counseling — and Jeff chose to come here.

What started as a requirement became a turning point.

Over the past five years, Jeff has done the work, stayed committed to his recovery, and rebuilt his life.

In Jeff’s own words:
“I have a completely different life. I am successful and this is the best I’ve ever done in my life.”

Stories like Jeff’s remind us that recovery is possible, and sometimes the first step starts in places we never expected.

We are incredibly proud of you, Jeff. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey. 👏🏼

RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE in Laclede County!!🙌🏼

Since addiction profoundly affects nearly every individual directly or indirectly in Laclede, Dallas, and Camden Counties, it is crucial to be informed about Lane Change, an addiction support organization in Lebanon. The program's effectiveness stems from personal stories and conviction, a passion for people, and an uncompromising faith-focus. Lane Change is increasingly being recognized by and expanding to other commminities as a model for making a meaningful difference in challenging life circumstances. Building on my conversation with Lauren and Cory Mitchell and Pastor Kelly Rhoades, efforts to prioritize mental health and make Missouri Strong will persist. Recovery is possible. 🇺🇸

We get asked all the time so here is the answer: Sobriety and recovery are not the same thing.

Sobriety means not using drugs or alcohol.
Recovery means changing your life.

Sobriety is the starting point.
Recovery is the journey of healing — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Sobriety keeps you alive.
Recovery helps you truly live. 🤍

Recovery was never meant to be silent.
When we recover loudly, we remind others they don’t have to die quietly.

At Lane Change, we believe stories save lives.
If you’re walking this road, keep going. If you’re still struggling—you are not alone

Hope is here.🤍

Recovery was never meant to be done alone.
When we walk together, we find strength, accountability, and hope.

This schedule represents something powerful — connection.
Different paths. Different meetings. One shared goal: healing and freedom.

Whether you’re just starting out or have been walking this road for a while, there is a seat for you and people ready to walk beside you.
Recovery is better together. 💛

Sometimes God doesn’t remove the valley—He changes how we walk through it.
If you’re in a hard season, ask Him for eyes to see what He’s doing in you, not just what’s happening around you.
Perspective can be the beginning of healing. 🙏🏻🤍

Just because it feels true doesn’t mean it is true.
In recovery, emotions can be loud—but truth is steady.
Pause. Breathe. Check the facts. Reach out for support.
You are not your feelings. You are stronger than this moment.

✨ The Who ✨

Shayla’s Lighthouse is a long-term women’s recovery housing program owned and operated by Lane Change.

We serve women who are in recovery or seeking recovery, committed to real life change, and willing to accept guidance, structure, and accountability. Some women may be deferred to our program as an alternative to incarceration.

Our long-term program is built on recovery principles, peer support, service to others, and strong personal responsibility—while intentionally grounding every step in Biblical truth and the teachings of Jesus. Women are taught self-discipline, accountability, and how to build a firm foundation for lasting transformation.

Through Lane Change, residents receive recovery support, peer services, and connection to community resources.
