Did you know that we're New Hampshire’s only academic medical center and are the sponsoring institution for 51 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited residency and fellowship programs?

We recently celebrated GME Resident & Fellow Appreciation Week. We extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in the events throughout the week, from enjoying breakfast and other meals, to joining the team for hot cocoa & activities with Kooper, our pet therapy colleague. We continue to lead the transformation of Graduate Medical Education in our region, helping to set new standards at the national level while maintaining a connection to our community and our commitment to outstanding training and compassionate patient care.

Thanks to our Office of GME team for organizing the successful appreciation week events again this year!

One pint of blood can save multiple lives. Your hour of time gives someone else their tomorrow. Thank you for being the hero in someone’s story.

In 2025, your donated Blood Donor Program points supported patients at the Dartmouth Cancer Center, David's House, Inc., Upper Valley Humane Society (UVHS), the NH Veteran’s Cemetery and NH Veteran’s Home.

Our donors also contributed in other ways by donating blood and platelets during special events:
🐾 Pints for Paws - 984 pounds of dog and cat food for UVHS (in collaboration with West Lebanon Feed & Supply)
📚 Give a Child Another Chapter - 160 books were donated to the Dartmouth Health Children's Child Life Program
🦃 Thanks For Giving - 202 turkeys were donated to the Upper Valley Haven’s annual Turkey Day

Your blood and platelet donations also helped save countless lives and reduced the hospital’s dependence on outside blood banks. We appreciate you!

It’s National Blood Donor Month. You can make an appointment to donate blood, plasma or platelets at the link in our below.
