Residents and staff recently enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine while getting their hands dirty in the Cedar Haven garden—right here on our own grounds! From planting and weeding to sharing laughs and stories, it was a wonderful way to connect with nature and each other.

🦈 Shark Week Shenanigans at Cedar Haven! 🌴

This year’s Shark Week has been fin-tastic! 🐟🌊 From blue spirit wear and hula-themed costumes to “shark attack” drinks and tropical vibes, our residents and staff dove into the fun headfirst. 📸 We also had a fun photo op spot set up to capture the memories and a jaw-some raffle basket up for grabs — complete with shark-themed goodies!

Every smile, costume, and colorful detail so far has made this week unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who has helped bring the Shark Week spirit to life at Cedar Haven! Let's fin-ish strong! 🦈🦈

🌿 Evening Walks on the REC Trail 🌿

There’s something special about a quiet evening stroll at Cedar Haven. Our very own Theresa recently captured some beautiful moments along our REC Trail, showcasing the peaceful wildlife that calls our campus home — including rabbits, squirrels, and birds enjoying the cool breeze right alongside us. 🐇🐿️🕊️

It’s just one of the many ways our residents and team get to enjoy nature, right in their own backyard. Whether it’s a moment of reflection or a scenic walk with a friend, the REC Trail is a favorite place to unwind and take it all in.

Come cool down on the REC Trail in the evening, and enjoy the peace and quiet alongside the wildlife — it’s a breath of fresh air in every sense.

We’re grateful for the natural beauty that surrounds Cedar Haven — and for our very own Theresa Lewis, Cedar Haven's Chief Operating Officer, who took these photos to remind us to slow down and appreciate it.

🎉 Celebrating Joann’s Rehab Success! 🎉

Today we’re thrilled to celebrate Joann, a vibrant and determined woman who truly put the “fast” in our Fast Track program! 💪💙

With the support of our incredible Rehabilitation and Therapy team, our dedicated nursing staff, and her loving family, Joann returned home in just over a week—stronger, more confident, and ready to continue living life to the fullest. 👏

"Today we were able to celebrate Joann! This wonderful young at heart lady took a fast track at Cedar Haven, returning home in just a little over a week! With the support of her rehab nursing team, her therapy team and all her amazing family support, Joann gets to return to her prior level feeling confident and ready to return to her life.
