The call to protect life rings louder every day as Oregon Governor Tina Kotek recently declared March 10th “Abortion Provider Appreciation Day” celebrating the individuals and organizations behind the deaths of over 10,000 babies in Oregon in 2023 alone.
Kotek reported with great pride her commitment to providing access to abortion for women around the country. In 2023, Oregon saw a 65% increase in abortions provided for women who are non-residents of the state of Oregon.
At the March 10th rally, Kotek proudly declared:
“To our [abortion] providers and to the patients who live in Oregon or have been forced to retreat to our state for care, know that I continue to have your back.”
While recent victories around the country and in the Supreme Court concerning abortion have been a step in the right direction, Oregon continues to lead the way in providing abortions and in abortion leniency. Oregon experienced an astounding 165% increase in the number of late-term abortions in 2023, those occurring after 23 weeks of gestation.
The call to action resounds, and Obria Medical Clinics continues to lead the way in proclaiming a message of hope and life to those wrestling with the life-or-death decision faced in unplanned pregnancies. We need your partnership now more than ever!
