Introducing Armchair Travel paired with Universal YUMS—a fun and interactive experience where our residents can “travel the world” without ever leaving the building!

We’ve purchased a year-long subscription that brings us a new box each month filled with snacks and goodies from a different country for our residents to taste, explore, and enjoy together. 🍫🍪

Our very first destination… GERMANY! 🇩🇪

We can’t wait to learn about the culture, traditions, and of course—try all the delicious treats!

Stay tuned as we journey around the world one country at a time with our residents. This is going to be such a fun adventure! 🌎

Miss Erlene had us all smiling today! 😊

She did a little taste test of Dr. Pepper with one of our amazing care partners, and her reaction was priceless… “Ohhh, it’s hot!” 😂

Safe to say, that fizzy sparkle caught her by surprise! Moments like these are what make our days so special—full of laughter, joy, and the sweetest memories. ❤️

Our Shamrocks Across America project just keeps getting better! 🍀💚

Today we received a shamrock all the way from New Jersey—and yesterday alone we received 6 shamrocks in total! I absolutely love how some of you have taken the time to write personal messages on your cards… it truly adds such a special and meaningful touch. 🥹

A very special thank you to Heritage Assisted Living and Memory Care in Madison, Alabama for your beautiful and heartfelt shamrock—we appreciate it so much!

This is my very first time organizing Shamrocks Across America, and it has been nothing short of AMAZING so far. We are getting so close to completing our map—we only need shamrocks from 15 more states:

Today at Best Care Senior Living, we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in the best way possible! We began our day with our weekly Catholic Church service, and then the shenanigans officially began.

We kicked things off by making green Jello, and while it chilled, we enjoyed watching the St. Patrick’s Day parade together. The fun continued as we prepared queso dip and chips, whipped up delicious Shamrock shakes, and treated ourselves to cookies and cupcakes.

Of course, no celebration is complete without music—we danced to festive Irish tunes, shared lots of laughs, and spent quality time socializing with one another.

A joyful and spirited day all around. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Last week in our Activities Department was full of joy, connection, and meaningful moments! 💙

We started the week off with our good friends from Good Shepard Lutheran Church, sharing a beautiful service and communion. We always love ending with singing, dancing, and of course—our favorite, The Twist! 🎶

In honor of Women’s History Month, we took a walk through some of the most iconic women in history. We also enjoyed Bingo, held our Catholic Church service, and welcomed our friends from Caring K9’s—Hope and Carol—who brought plenty of smiles and comfort to our residents. 🐾

We had fun celebrating St. Patty’s Day with some lively trivia, and were so excited to welcome our special guests, Joann & Tom! Joann played the piano while Tom, as always, brought his drums and gave lessons—but this time, we surprised them! Our residents joined in with their own instruments and played along to the music. It was an unforgettable experience! 🥁🎹

We also tried out some new games for National Umbrella Day, which turned out to be a huge hit! ☂️
